Planting and care

Your lilies Marco Polo will be available at the end of October. Plant them as soon as you receive them. They enjoy the winter cold, which encourages them to root. Dig deep holes filled with a mix of garden soil and compost where the bulbs need to be planted 10cm (4in) deep. They can tolerate any exposure but are sensitive to excess moisture. Choose well-drained soil for them. Lilies are very suitable for pot cultivation. Plant 1 to 5 bulbs in a deep pot. Water them a little and place your pots in a frost-free area. Bring them out in spring and enjoy their fragrance on your terrace!
