A traditional rose fork equipped with an ash handle ending in a T, and a 2-pronged beveled head that penetrates the soil easily. It is a very practical tool for working and loosening any type of soil in densely planted bush beds. Its head is hand-forged from stainless steel. This tool is guaranteed for 2 years.

This rose fork made of forged steel by Gschwind, equipped with an ash handle, has a head with 2 bevelled tines that allow you to work the soil in shrub, tree, and climbing plant beds, even if they are planted close together. Its ergonomic handle, finished with a T-shaped grip, provides a good grip. Its head is hand-forged from steel. It is a durable, manoeuvrable, robust and well-made tool that will last for many years.

Dimensions: head: 28 x 7 cm - handle length: 85 cm.

The rose fork, with its narrow head and two sturdy and bevelled tines, is a precision tool designed to loosen, cultivate, and crumble the soil deeply in small areas. It is well suited for working clay or heavy and compact soils. It aerates the soil without turning it over, simply by penetrating with the two tines. Unlike a spade, this garden tool does not disturb the soil's microbial life and does not cut through earthworms, which are essential for soil health and fertility. It can be used to uproot weeds, which can then be removed. The rose fork can also be used to scrape and rake the surface of the soil. This rose fork consists of a natural ash handle, known for its hardness, with a metal socket where the forged head made of stainless steel is attached. The handle, finished with a T-shaped grip, as well as the two 'footrests' located at the top of the head, multiply the force: they allow for leverage to drive the head into the soil. The handle is compostable, and the metal head is recyclable.

Gschwind is a Swiss company specialising in the manufacturing of high-quality hand tools that combine robustness and ergonomics while meeting the most specific needs! This tool was manufactured in Germany.

Directions for use The rose fork, with its narrow head and two sturdy tines, is a precision tool designed to loosen, cultivate, and crumble the soil deeply, in small areas, between bushes, trees, or climbing plants, in flower beds where the plantings are dense. It is well suited for working with clay or heavy and compacted soils. It aerates the soil without turning it over, simply by dislodging it with the penetration of the two tines, and uproots weeds, which can then be easily removed. The rose fork can also be used to scrape the surface of the soil. The handle, ending in a T shape, as well as the two 'footrests' located at the top of the head, multiply the force: they allow for leverage to drive the head into the soil and rotate it. To maintain the beautiful appearance of your tool, we recommend cleaning it with a stiff brush after each use and storing it away from moisture. Once a year, you can sand the handle with fine sandpaper and oil it with a mixture of linseed oil and turpentine for easier application. Dilute half and half, and for faster drying of the handle, use boiled linseed oil.
