Conifers for pot-growing

The small conifers, so beautiful in rockeries and embankments, can perfectly live in pots for many years. Stars of our contemporary decorations, their permanence is reassuring, their diversity underestimated and their beauty timeless. Issuing from the genera Picea, Abies, Pinus, Juniperus, Pseudotsuga, Chamaecyparis, Cupressus, Thuja... they exist in the form of numerous cultivars, each more adorable than the other. All these evergreen bushes are characterized by a slow to very slow growth, which allows them to keep a very compact habit and modest dimensions for many years, from 20cm (8in) to 2m (7ft) in height. They are precious for decorating the terrace or balcony, especially in winter.
