A selection of Asters resistant to diseases such as powdery mildew and rust. The large autumn asters, particularly the New York asters novi-belgii, are known for their susceptibility to powdery mildew. But many other species and varieties such as Aster ericoides 'Blue Star', A. cordifolius 'Ideal', and A. pringlei 'Monte Cassino' are resistant to common aster diseases. For summer flowering, choose the Aster amellus, a small, floriferous, and undemanding plant. The Aster tongolensis 'Berggarten', on the other hand, will bloom in spring. To decorate a pot on the terrace, opt for the Aster dumosus and the Aster alpinus, with numerous cultivars, also ideal for rock gardens. Discover also the Aster ageratoides 'Ezo Murasaki' with its superb late flowering in a purple-violet colour, easy to grow and hardy. Or the Aster novae-angliae (Symphyotrichum novae-angliae) 'Violetta' known for its good disease resistance. We also offer some beautiful, rare, and carefree plants such as 'Aster pyrenaeus 'Lutetia'. The choice is vast! Discover them in this selection.
