The Euphorbias are very unique plants for their flowering and foliage. Easy to grow, some varieties are cultivated as annuals like the White Euphorbia or Diamond Frost Euphorbia (synonym Chamaesyce hypericifolia) with a bushy habit and many small white flowers for fresh or dry soils. However, to grow Euphorbias successfully, the soil must be moist, well-drained, and in a warm location. Regular fertilisation is necessary to keep the foliage green and the flowering beautiful. When handling, do not forget gloves! Euphorbias produce a highly irritating and toxic latex.
