Our selection of dwarf Astilbes, not exceeding 40 cm (16in) in height when flowering. Find in these pages the compact Astilbes 'Vision in Pink' and 'Vision in Red', the small Chinese Astilbe 'Pumila' which only reaches a height of 30 cm (12in), and the varieties of the Younique series. All these charming perennial plants for partial shade and moist soil with feathery summer flowers are perfect for animating borders, small gardens and pots. The small-sized selections offer the same colour palette as the tall ones, including white (A.simplicifolia Sprite'), different shades of pink, red, purple, violet and mauve. They are perennial plants for wet soils that thrive in semi-shaded situations, without direct sunlight. They are all very cold-resistant, never sick and live for a long time in the same spot. In addition to flowering, the more or less divided foliage is often decorative, although it disappears in winter. They also perform very well in pots kept moist on the terrace. We offer a wide range of species and dwarf varieties.
