Thanks to the individuals (order preparation & shipping service), the rose bush received is young and healthy. Planted close to the 'Lady Sylvia' variety, I am now looking forward to seeing its progress... note: received with the variety label, plant with the small green pot.

Rose 'Constance Mozart / La Belle Ferronière' from the Parfuma collection is a novelty that combines the floribundity and natural disease resistance of modern creations by German rose breeder Kordes with the incomparable charm of old roses. This shrub is adorned with beautiful dark green foliage that serves as a backdrop for clusters of generously shaped roses, in a very tender creamy pink colour, deliciously fragrant. The flower clusters continue to bloom throughout the summer on this charming little bush. A seductive and carefree rose, perfect for use in borders, with small bushes or perennials. Its modest growth is also well-suited for container cultivation. Its nostalgic flowers are beautiful in a vase.
Â
The Rosa (x) floribunda 'Constance Mozart/ La Belle Ferronnière' ('Kormaccap'), introduced in 2012, is the flagship of a series of roses, named 'Parfuma', selected in Germany by Kordes Rosen for their fragrance, among other criteria. This beautiful creation has won several awards in international competitions (Vienna, Courtrai), including the Silver Medal in Rome. The shrub, of modest size, is characterised by an upright and bushy habit, which is well-branched. This bush reaches approximately 80 cm (32in) in height and 50 cm (20in) in width. Its thorny stems bear medium green leaves, glossy and divided into 5 finely toothed leaflets, with low susceptibility to diseases. Its flowering period is long, with successive waves from June to October if the soil remains moist. The candy pink buds, enclosed in green sepals, open into beautifully cup-shaped blooms composed of 26 to 40 creamy pink petals, which can exceed 8 cm (3in) in diameter. Sometimes solitary, they are most often gathered in small terminal clusters.
Their fragrance has been analysed and described as both sweet and invigorating, with a top note reminiscent of verbena. This fragrance reveals a base of ripe fruit with notes of peach, apricot, and a touch of vanilla, heliotrope, and elderflower. The fragrance of the roses is at its peak at noon and in the evening, after a hot and sunny day.
Â
Floribunda roses can be used to create beautiful small hedges, planted mixed along the edge of the patio or in small shrub borders. Combine them with abelias, Mexican orange blossoms, or caryopteris, for example. They are good companions for phlox and gypsophila. This variety 'Constance Mozart' will be enhanced when planted in groups of 3, forming a large bush with a wildly romantic appearance. It can be surrounded by catmints, lavenders, and perennial or shrubby salvias with blue, fuchsia, mauve, or white flowers. It can also be combined with white groundcover roses (Swany, Marie Pavie...), bellflowers, or small, airy grasses such as Stipa (barbata, pennata, tenuifolia). This very hardy rose that requires little maintenance thrives in full sun or partial shade. It will delight all gardeners, beginners or experienced.

Botanical data
Plant the Constance Mozart floribunda rose from November to March, in ordinary, well-prepared, and well-drained soil. Roses prefer clay soils that are rather heavy than light. In soils that are too sandy, compact, or dry in summer, it is preferable to incorporate compost, decomposed manure, or humjus at the bottom of the planting hole. However, this rose dislikes waterlogged soils in winter. Place it in a sunny location, preferably in partial shade. Roses are hungry plants, and a specific fertiliser application will be beneficial at the start of vegetation, and regularly throughout the flowering period.
To encourage reblooming, regularly remove faded old flowers. Floribunda rose varieties are more vigorous and floriferous than large-flowered rose varieties. Therefore, prune the stems by about a quarter of their length (from 4 to 6 buds from the base of the stem) in late winter. Always prune above an outward-facing bud to allow the bush to bush out and prevent the branches from tangling in the centre of the branches.

Hardiness is the lowest winter temperature a plant can endure without suffering serious damage or even dying. However, hardiness is affected by location (a sheltered area, such as a patio), protection (winter cover) and soil type (hardiness is improved by well-drained soil).
