Greek anemones are often offered in mixtures, to create multicoloured carpets under deciduous bushes where they thrive.

Anemone blanda belongs to the Ranunculaceae family and is native to mountainous regions of Greece and Asia Minor. The plant forms carpets that are 10 to 15 cm high. Its finely cut leaves are dark green and disappear in summer. Greek anemones thrive in semi-shaded areas, even dry in summer. They prefer well-drained soil, rich in humus, not too dry in spring, and not too wet in winter. Plant the "bulbs" in autumn.
