This fork has a head with 4 triangular, 25 cm long steel tines, perfect for working deeply in hard and/or stony soils. It is an essential tool for aerating the soil near established plants without damaging their roots, removing stones, and uprooting and transplanting work.

This four-tine, 25 cm fork by Spear & Jackson, is an essential tool for the gardener's toolkit. Equipped with a curved ash handle ending in a knob, it has a head made of steel with four long, sharp, and sturdy tines, perfectly suited for working on difficult, compact, or stony soils. This versatile fork is also very useful for aerating and working the soil close to plants without damaging their roots, for bringing up larvae, digging up and transplanting.

Dimensions: blade: 25 cm in height, 16.5 cm in width - handle length: 100 cm - weight 1.395 Kg

The fork is a complementary tool to the spade, designed to loosen, cultivate, and break up the soil at depth, in small areas. It is much better suited than the spade for working on clayey, heavy, compact, or rocky soils. It will loosen the soil without turning it over, simply through the penetration of the tines. Unlike the spade, this garden tool does not disturb the soil's microbial life and does not cut through earthworms, essential for soil health and fertility. It helps to pull out weeds, as well as certain vegetable plants (leeks, potatoes, carrots, turnips), or divide large clumps of perennial plants. This fork consists of a flexible and shock-resistant ash handle, with a socket where the head with 4 triangular-pointed steel tines is fixed. The handle is rounded at its end, in a knob. It is compostable, and the metal head is recyclable.

Spear & Jackson have been selling tools for gardening, agriculture, and landscaping to both professionals and amateurs since 1760! Today, their range reflects all this experience by offering innovative, superior quality products adapted to various uses.
