Bigarreau Cherry Trees

Our range of Bigarreau cherry trees. These cherry trees, originating from the Prunus avium, are renowned for their sweet and crunchy fruits, perfect for fresh consumption. The 'Burlat' Bigarreau cherry tree is one of the most popular varieties, with its large dark red cherries and juicy flesh, ripe early in the summer. The 'Bigarreau Summit' produces later cherries, bright red in colour and with a particularly sweet flavour. The 'Bigarreau Reverchon' offers firm fruits with a slightly acidic taste, perfect for storage. Also discover the 'Napoleon Bigarreau', which produces bi-coloured cherries, from pinkish-yellow to red, with a firm and crunchy flesh. The fruits are particularly sweet and tasty, often used for fresh consumption or for making jams and preserves.

These Bigarreau cherry trees thrive and bear fruit in a sunny exposure with rich and well-drained soil. Regular watering in summer is recommended to promote fruit development.
