Bulbine

Our range of Bulbines. With their slender floral stems and succulent foliage, these plants bring an exotic touch to the terrace or garden. Among them, the Bulbine frutescens 'Hallmark' is particularly appreciated for its star-shaped flowers in bright orange. This variety forms dense and compact clumps, perfect for borders and rockeries. The wild Bulbine frutescens adds a bright touch with its more yellow flowers emerging from a cushion of long glaucous succulent leaves. Highly drought-resistant, it thrives particularly well in not-too-cold Mediterranean climates. The rarer Bulbine alooides stands out with its yellow flowers with orange hearts grouped in clusters on upright stems. Its succulent and linear foliage is also very decorative.

Bulbines thrive in well-drained soil, in full sun, and tolerate drought perfectly. However, these perennials fear heavy frosts. They look stunning in a large jar on the terrace, which allows them to be overwintered in the conservatory.
