Our range of variegated Phormium. These robust and architectural plants, also known as New Zealand flax, possess undeniable exotic charm with their remarkably colourful evergreen leaves. Phormium 'Golden Ray' kicks things off with its bright foliage, featuring long arching green leaves edged in golden yellow, bringing sparkle and structure to the garden. Phormium tenax 'Variegatum' is another popular variety, forming an opulent tuft of linear and stiff leaves, vertically edged with cream yellow and green. Phormium 'Rainbow Queen' stands out with its tricolour foliage blending bronze, pink, and green. Also discover 'Evening Glow', with its broad pink leaves edged in purple.
Phormiums adapt to all types of drained soil and withstand drought well once established, but they are a bit frost-sensitive.

- In zone 5 (Central Europe, Scandinavia), blooming will be delayed by 3 to 5 weeks.
In temperate climates, pruning of spring-flowering shrubs (forsythia, spireas, etc.) should be done just after flowering.
Pruning of summer-flowering shrubs (Indian Lilac, Perovskia, etc.) can be done in winter or spring.
In cold regions as well as with frost-sensitive plants, avoid pruning too early when severe frosts may still occur.
