Fuchsia Sir Matt Busby

This trailing Fuchsia is characterised by its spectacular 7cm (3in) double trailing flowers.

In red and white, it blooms continuously from June to October. Usually grown as an annual, it is a perennial that can be grown indoors.

Discovered in Saint-Domingue in the 17th century and acclimatized in Europe, it was named Fuchsia in honor of a German botanist named Fuchs. Native to South America, botanical Fuchsias have gradually been multiplied. There are now believed to be tens of thousands of hybrids!

Green plants measuring 4 to 8cm (2 to 3in) in plug plants of 5 small plugs measuring 2.8cm (1in) in diameter and 4cm (2in) high. Our plants are at least eight weeks old and strong enough to be planted in the ground.

Note: Please be aware that our young plug plants are professional products reserved for experienced gardeners: upon receipt, transplant and store them under cover (veranda, greenhouse, cold frame...) at a temperature above 14°C (57.2°F) for a few weeks before being planted outdoors once the risk of frost is definitively avoided.
