Our range of Banksia Roses. The Lady Banks' rose, or Rosa banksiae, is renowned for its spectacular flowering in spring and its drought resistance. This large climbing rose, typically thornless, produces a multitude of small single, double, or semi-double flowers in spring. The Rosa banksia 'Lutea' charms with its small double yellow flowers, while 'Alba Plena' offers a profusion of small white pompoms reminiscent of snow. The 'Rosea' variety charms with its barely double pale pink corollas. These roses, perfect for covering a pergola or a wall, bring a romantic and elegant touch to the garden.
Banksia roses thrive in heat, preferring a sunny exposure and well-drained soil. These varieties tolerate summer drought once established and require little maintenance. Plant them in spring or autumn, spacing the plants at least 2 to 3 m apart to allow them to spread. Water regularly during the first year to promote rooting. Prune lightly after flowering to maintain their shape and encourage new growth.
