Our range of cacti. These succulent plants with varied and often thorny shapes are ideal for creating exotic or modern decors, both outdoors and in bright interiors. The Echinopsis subdenudata is one of the most popular with its globular shape, its midrib ribs, and its large white flowers in summer. The Cereus forbesii 'Spiralis' is a very original candle cactus with its thick stems with spiralled spikes. The Opuntia microdasys 'Caress', nicknamed the thornless prickly pear, stands out for its softness to the touch. These plants are perfect for exotic decors. Also discover the Hylocereus undatus, or Pitaya, a tropical climbing cactus that produces dragon fruit. And find the Christmas Cactus (Schlumbergera), very popular, which blooms in winter. Its tubular flowers are in shades of pink, red, or white. Ideal indoors, it enjoys indirect light and a slightly humid atmosphere.
Cacti thrive in very well-drained, sandy soils, in full light. Be sure to limit watering, especially in winter, and protect them from frost if you grow them outdoors. Some, like the Cereus (candle cactus), tolerate light frosts.
