Our range of Cornus kousa. Known as the Japanese dogwood, the Cornus kousa is an elegant deciduous bush originating from East Asia, prized for its spectacular flowering and decorative fruits. Its flowers, which appear in late spring and early summer, are followed by fruits resembling small strawberries. Among the flagship varieties, the Cornus kousa subsp. chinensis, growing in China, captivates with its abundant flowering and imposing stature. The Cornus kousa 'Milky Way', on the other hand, features large flowers of pure white and a spectacular fruiting. To liven up the garden in autumn, choose the Cornus kousa 'Satomi' which offers delicate pink flowers and well-coloured foliage towards the end of the season. Many other varieties are waiting to be discovered on our pages.

These dogwoods prefer a fresh, well-drained, humus-rich soil and a sunny to semi-shady, non-burning exposure. To find out more, check out our file "Cornus kousa, Japanese dogwood: choosing, planting and maintaining"
