Our range of Ampelopsis. Like Ampelopsis brevipedunculata 'Elegans', these climbing plants, known as Virginia creeper, are prized for their decorative foliage and colourful berries. Ampelopsis brevipedunculata is famous for its small turquoise berries. The 'Elegans' variety stands out for its variegated leaves of white and pink, as well as its small multicoloured berries. Ampelopsis aconitifolia, on the other hand, offers finely divided foliage that turns bright red in autumn. Also, discover Ampelopsis glandulosa var. maximowiczii known for its dense foliage and its astonishing fruiting in clusters of multicoloured pearls. These deciduous climbing plants elegantly adorn trellises, pergolas, or walls.
Ampelopsis thrive in sunny or semi-shaded exposures and adapt to different types of soil, as long as they are well-drained. They require regular watering in the first year to establish well, then become quite resistant to summer drought. A sturdy support is necessary to sustain their vigorous growth.
