Compost Aerator - Naturovert Airocomposter

The Naturovert Aerocompost Compost Aerator is a tool designed to mix compost, a gesture that accelerates the decomposition process of materials and reduces odours. This model is ergonomic thanks to its S-shaped handle, which reduces effort and ensures better comfort of use. The rotating claw is equipped with profiled teeth that allow the compost to be mixed horizontally and vertically by lifting compost cores.

This compost aerator is of solid design thanks to its steel structure and quality welds. It is an essential tool for natural and sustainable gardening. Home compost is a first choice amendment to use in both vegetable and ornamental gardens, or to feed potted plants.

To make your 'home' compost:

• Install your compost bin in a sheltered area to ensure proper fermentation and protect the compost from rain by closing the lid.
• Layer kitchen and garden waste (peelings, clippings, brushwood, etc.) and do not include weeds with seeds.
• Start with the coarsest waste to promote aeration from the bottom.
• Spread compost activator on each new 10cm (4in) layer of waste.
• Maintain a constant moisture level: the compost should be moist but not dripping when pressed by hand.
• With the Naturovert Leborgne compost aerator, regularly turn over the new waste to aerate the compost.
• The composting duration varies from 2 to 3 months in summer to 4 to 6 months in winter. Mature compost has a dark brown colour and a pleasant odour and can be used as an organic amendment at a rate of 1m3 per 100m2.
