PKS
A hoe that stands out for its greater robustness and great ease of use thanks to its jointed socket! The jointed shape ensures a perfect connection between the tool head and the handle, while allowing for a more comfortable grip. The lime wood handle absorbs twists and shocks, and is extended up to 1.30 metres (4 feet) to prevent back pain and ensure good ergonomics during use. Its large 18 x 14cm (6in) head is ideal for quickly and effectively aerating even heavy and compacted soils without disturbing the deeper layers. Use this tool to dig irrigation trenches, mound your vegetable crops, and cultivate the soil without turning it over. The copper head will deposit micro particles in the soil over time, contributing to its enrichment with this natural soil component.

The Sirius copper hoe from the PKS Bronze range, named after the famous Austrian naturalist and ecologist, is a tool equipped with a triangular head sharpened on both sides and a long 130cm (51in) wooden handle that provides great ergonomic comfort. Its copper alloy head, 18cm (7in) long and 14cm (6in) wide, facilitates soil cultivation. Ideally used for soil aeration, hilling crops such as beans and potatoes, creating furrows, and cutting the strongest roots. The copper alloy head, which deposits micro particles in the soil over time, helps enrich it with this natural constituent of the soil. This is a high-quality hoe, suitable for regular use in the garden. 2-year warranty.

Dimensions:  Blade: 18cm (7in) x 14cm (6in) - Weight: 1kg - Handle Length: 130cm (51in)

The hoe is a basic tool, designed both for weed control without the use of chemicals and for surface soil cultivation. Its heavy and wide head is specifically designed to break up the surface and deeply aerate even compact and heavy soils, thanks to its sharp blade on both sides. More similar to a pickaxe than a hoe, it crumbles and lightens the top layer of soil after digging, uproots unwanted plants, hills vegetables by gathering soil around their base, and creates shallow planting holes and furrows. Like a hoe, it is used to loosen and break up the top layer of soil, aerating the soil around cultivated plants in the vegetable garden or ornamental garden. It also prevents the formation of a compacted layer that appears under the action of watering or rain in clayey or loamy soils. This hard and compacted layer, which is very difficult to rehydrate and suffocating for plants, also promotes water rising to the surface and evaporation. Working the surface soil after watering limits water evaporation. Its large dimensions and weight make it a perfect tool for quickly working the surface soil and breaking up clods. Its oval socket ensures a perfectly stable connection between the head and the ergonomic lime wood handle, providing a comfortable grip.

Directions for use The hoe is an essential tool, closer to the pickaxe than to the hoe. It is designed both to weed the vegetable garden or ornamental garden without resorting to the use of chemical products and to work the soil on the surface. After digging, the gardener uses the hoe to loosen, aerate and refine the superficial layer of soil, dig shallow planting holes or furrows. The hoe makes it easy to remove unwanted plants, but also to hill up vegetables, that is, to gather the soil in the form of a mound at the base of the plants. Clean your tool after use and store it away from bad weather.
