The 150cm (59in) wooden handle PKS Bronze hoe and fork, from the eponymous brand of the famous Austrian ecologist and naturalist, is a very robust and manoeuvrable tool with its 18cm (7in) wide single-piece eye socket head, made of copper alloy, and its 150cm (59in) long handle made of lime wood! It is a highly versatile garden tool used for regular surface soil maintenance. Its copper alloy head has a double-edged blade hoe, useful for weeding and digging loosened soil, and a two-pronged swallowtail fork for breaking up large clods of soil and aerating the soil without disturbing the different layers of the soil. 2-year warranty.

The hoe is one of the essential tools when gardening, and one of the first to acquire due to its versatility. This model, manufactured in Austria, features a 150cm (59in) lime wood handle that prevents bending over and preserves your back. It is a double-headed and double-use tool. The flat and triangular side of the head, with its double-edged blade, called the "panne," allows you to hoe the soil, meaning to weed by scraping the surface of the soil, to cultivate, meaning to mound up the soil around the base of plants, or to dig the soil. Meanwhile, the two-pronged fork-shaped side, with its swallowtail shape, scratches or loosens the surface soil by dislodging the roots of "weeds" without harming the roots of already well-established plants. In the vegetable garden, the hoe is used to dig a furrow in the soil for sowing, directly in line with a marked cord. Precious for working the soil in small spaces, this hoe manoeuvres around plants that are too close together for a wider hoe to pass through. The handle of this hoe is compostable, and the copper alloy head is recyclable.

Directions for use The cordate hoe and fork, a highly versatile tool, is an essential tool for the gardener. The flat and square side of the head allows you to: - weed the soil, which means removing weeds by scraping the surface of the soil - hoe - mound up, which means piling up soil around the base of plants (potatoes, asparagus, beans) - dig the soil: in the vegetable garden, the cordate hoe allows you to dig a furrow in the soil to prepare for sowing, in line with a marked line using a cord. The pointed side, in fork shape, allows you to pick or loosen the surface soil by dislodging the roots of 'weeds'. This cordate hoe can manoeuvre around plants that are too close together for the wider hoe to pass through. Store your tool away from the sun and bad weather, in a dry storage space. Clean the head of the tool after each use with a hard brush and oil it.
