Description

Perennial plants, highly regarded in gardens, Columbines require a light, humus-rich soil that is consistently moist, where they colonize the area with their spontaneous sowings. They can tolerate heavy soils, but do not live for very long in them. Some alpine varieties are challenging to cultivate.

Deep dark red, white corolla.
