Description
Perennial plants essential for compact, heavy, moist, and marshy soils. Astilbes are highly resistant to cold, never get sick, and live for a long time in the same spot. In addition to flowering, the more or less divided foliage is often decorative, although it disappears in winter. It spreads using its running rhizomes. Leaves covered in brownish hairs. Flowers in upright and slender panicles. Flowering occurs later than that of other species. Very hardy. Also better withstands sun and summer drought.

It will vary according to where you live:
- In zones 9 to 10 (Italy, Spain, Greece, etc.), flowering will occur about 2 to 4 weeks earlier.
- In zones 6 to 7 (Germany, Poland, Slovenia, and lower mountainous regions), flowering will be delayed by 2 to 3 weeks.
