Description

We offer you a collection of 3 Bleeding Hearts ground cover, it consists of:

1 Bleeding Heart 'King of Hearts' with a soft purple-pink colour and grey foliage

1 Bleeding Heart 'Burning Hearts' with a vibrant red colour and bluish foliage

1 Bleeding Heart 'Ivory Hearts' with an ivory white colour and green-grey foliage.

The Bleeding Hearts ground cover are sturdy perennials that only fear excessive winter humidity and summer drought. It is common for them to go into dormancy at the end of flowering, there is no need to worry, but to prevent too early "disappearance", the soil where they are planted should remain cool in summer, be rich in humus, well-drained and shaded. Bleeding Hearts can be paired with Heucheras, Tarellas, sedges, and tulips.

Individually labeled. Most Bleeding Hearts go dormant in late spring, but this does not have any harmful consequences on the growth of the plants

Planting and care

Plant the Dicentra ground cover in partial shade, in a soil rich in humus, moist and light. During hot weather, the foliage disappears and the plant goes into dormancy, to avoid too early a "disappearance", the soil that welcomes them must remain moist in the summer, well-drained and shaded.
