Apparently, the vine-plants have recovered well. Big disappointment: a Super yellow has a burgundy-red flower when we wanted a group of yellows.

Planting and care

Hellebores grow in most soils. They thrive in soil that has been deeply cultivated and mixed with a quantity of organic matter. To fertilize, use bone meal or another organic fertilizer. In acidic soil, preferably add a little lime or two-year-old wood ash. Water the plants well after planting and then add a layer of mulch 2 to 5 cm (1 to 2in) thick. Regularly remove wilted leaves. Take care not to plant the plants too close to each other to promote their growth.
