Description

Mentha spicata var. crispa Morrocan mainly differs from the type by its decorative, frilly foliage and its more colourful flowers.

This is the most commonly used form to make the famous mint tea in North Africa.

Planting and care

For any moist soil. In a small garden, It is better to grow it in a pot than in open ground to prevent its spread. However, pot cultivation requires dividing the crown and transplanting it into fresh compost every 3 years, otherwise the plant may wither and die.
