Description

A large perennial with a woody crown from which robust, straight and sparsely branched stems emerge, bearing narrow lance-shaped dark green leaves. The small, lovely pale purple pompom flowers, are grouped in corymbs. This beautiful and hardy late flowering plant is easy to grow and should be paired with grasses or eupatoriums, willowherb, 'Venusta' red filipendula, Marsh Spurge, willows...
