Detailed features

Directions for use The Bahco PG-12-F orange lightweight pruning shears with its narrow cutting head will facilitate the pruning of plants with thin and dense stems. Thanks to its manoeuvrability, it is ideal for picking flowers, herbs, vegetables, and fruits, but also works well for pruning annuals, perennials, climbers, and small bushes. It could also be used for maintaining topiaries that require precise work with a not too bulky tool. It is used to cut green or living stems and branches up to 20mm (1in). The bypass pruning shears are composed of two mobile curved blades that slide against each other when the handles of the tool are squeezed. Cut at an angle to prevent water from stagnating on the wound or on a lower bud. Clean the blades with alcohol after use to disinfect them and prevent the spread of diseases. This action also helps to keep them in good condition (the sap of certain plants can attack the blades of pruning shears or make them sticky). Store this tool in a dry place, protected from bad weather.
