Rosa Mission Patrimoine - Hybrid Tea Rose

The Rosa 'Mission Patrimoine' is a highly floriferous modern bush variety, distinguished by the soft green glow that adorns its large frilly white roses. It blooms for 6 months above equally elegant, dark green and glossy foliage. Whether in the ground, in containers, or plunged into a vase, its slightly fragrant flowers are worthy of the grandest occasions!

The 'Mission Patrimoine' or 'Staroldston' is a creation by Bernard Panozo, protected by the La Star de Doué catalogue. It was baptised on June 9, 2019, in Saint Yrieix sous Aixe, during the Rose Exhibition at the Abbey of Chaalis, in the presence of its godfather, Stéphane Bern. This Modern hybrid with large flowers forms a small spreading and upright bush habit, well-suited for container cultivation. Its growth is rapid. It will reach an average height of 1m (3ft) with a spread of 60cm (24in). Its young shoots are tinted with copper and bronze. From May-June until October-November, on a healthy and abundant foliage of dark glossy green, beautiful old-style roses, 10cm (4in) wide, bloom singly or small clusters on long, sturdy and thorny stems. The large pale green buds open into double roses composed of tightly packed petals. They are white, with a cream-coloured heart, and the reverse of the petals is washed and veined with pale green. Their fragrance is light but very pleasant.

This modern 'Mission Patrimoine' rose possesses a rare elegance and is also a plant that can be relied upon to beautifully adorn the garden or balcony throughout the warm season. This variety of rose requires enough water and nutrients to meet its needs. Additionally, it's an extraordinary variety of cut flowers. This wonderful rose is perfect in a rose bed or a large border. It harmonises beautifully with pastel pink roses (Pink Eureka, Gérard Depardieu). It is lovely planted alone in a well-tended small garden. It pairs perfectly with beautiful, easy-to-grow perennials such as hardy geraniums (Geranium Blue Cloud, Anne Folkard, Nimbus, Orion), campanulas (lactiflora, rapunculoides), catmints, foxgloves, lupins.
