Planting and care

These bushes grow quickly, in any rich but light soil and without excessive water. Choose a warm position, sheltered from the wind. Outside coastal areas, due to their poor hardiness (-8° to -10° / 17.6 to 14°F), it is preferable to cultivate them in pots, kept frost-free during winter. Pruning in early spring maintains their compact and floriferous appearance. Their foliage persists in winter.
