Planting and care

These bushes grow quickly, in any rich but light soil without excessive water, warm and sheltered from the wind. Due to their poor hardiness (-8° (17.6 °F) to -10°), it is preferable to cultivate them in pots, kept frost-free during winter outside coastal regions. Hard pruning in early spring maintains their compact and floriferous aspect. Their foliage persists in winter.
