This special orchard netting to protect against codling moth and birds is made from a very strong, finely woven polythene that provides excellent protection against hail, apple and pear worms, and other larger pests like birds! Apple and pear worms are small caterpillars that burrow into the heart of the fruits, leaving trails of excrement in their wake. They are the larvae of codling moths, which belong to the family of tortricid moths. Codling moths generally attack all rosaceae plants, including pear and apple trees, as well as apricot, peach, plum, and quince trees. The small mesh of the netting prevents them from laying their eggs on your fruit trees. Easy to install, use it to protect your crops effectively and naturally! Ultra-resistant and treated against UV rays, it can be reused for at least 5 years.
