Effective, highly visible in the middle of the garden, being tall enough to spot a spot at the beginning of cultivation to avoid being hit by a strimmer, and to add a label.

A set of 10 stakes for planting labels, 42cm (17in) in height. Made of high-density polyethylene, they are sturdy and their pointed end easily sinks into the ground. At the top, 4 notches hold a label to be inserted on a 'cross' style stand (sold separately) securely in place.

These 42cm (17in) high 'cross stakes' are perfect for setting up plant labels that will be used to identify plantings and sowings. Made of high-density polyethylene, they are sturdy and their pointed end easily sinks into the ground. This model keeps the 'cross' plant labels with a cross-shaped slot in place. The cross stakes are sold in packs of 10.

Seed packets, as well as printed bands and labels that are provided when purchasing plants, often deteriorate quickly under the combined action of sun and rain, with the names of the plants becoming quickly illegible. It is therefore often necessary to replace them with a more durable device, such as plastic labels carried by a stake planted in the ground near the plantings. Robust and rigid, rot-resistant, the cross stakes are made of a material that withstands the test of time and can therefore be reused many times. Their yellow colour, visible from afar, prevents accidental hits with a spade, rake or pitchfork. The 'cross' labels, securely attached to the cross stake thanks to the 4-prong attachment system, will remain in place even in windy or rainy weather.

Plant labeling systems are very useful accessories that every gardener will appreciate. In the vegetable garden, identifying sowings of lettuce, radishes or carrots, as well as varieties of melons or squashes, is essential, for example. In the ornamental garden, some perennials or bulbs disappear underground for a good part of the year and may disappear under an unfortunate blow of a spade or pickaxe if they have not been marked. The collector of irises or grasses will appreciate being able to remember the names of the beautiful varieties he has planted. The enthusiast of rare plants for which there is no common name can, thanks to the label that comes to the rescue of his memory, proudly present the Latin name of his latest acquisition to his amazed visitors. Finally, naming a plant is an excellent way to awaken children's interest in nature, in all its diversity.
