Jute is a material that comes directly from the rigid and fibrous stems of a bush called the white jute, in Latin Corchorus capsularis. It is a plant from the Malvaceae family, related to our Hibiscus roses, native to the hot and humid regions of India. This La Cordeline twine is made from raw, untreated fibre, simply woven. The jute twine is resistant and can be reused several times before starting to degrade. The twine has a rustic appearance, slightly fluffy on the surface, while still maintaining flexibility.
