Notre sélection de graines d'Amarantine (Gomphrena), des fleurs annuelles qui produisent tout l'été des petits pompons colorés, très durables en vase. Le Gomphrena globosa 'QIS Formula Mix' offre un mélange de pompons colorés, dans des tons de violet, rose et blanc, tandis que le Gomphrena haageana 'Strawberry Fields' se distingue par ses fleurs d'un rouge écarlate rappelant des fraises, parfaites pour égayer les bordures.
Le genre Gomphrena appartient à la famille des Amaranthacées et regroupe des plantes herbacées originaires des régions tropicales et subtropicales. Ces espèces sont particulièrement appréciées pour leurs inflorescences globuleuses colorées, composées de petites bractées qui ne fanent pas rapidement. Le Gomphrena globosa, avec ses fleurs en forme de pompons, et le Gomphrena haageana, aux inflorescences plus allongées, sont cultivés pour leur résistance à la chaleur et leur longue floraison, parfaite pour des compositions florales fraîches ou sèches.
Les amarantines préfèrent le plein soleil et un sol bien drainé. Semez-les directement en pleine terre après les dernières gelées, et arrosez modérément en période sèche.
