Melon – Cucumis melo – is grown in the vegetable garden for its delicious sweet fruits. Like the Watermelon, its flesh is juicy and aromatic. Our organic Melons, certified Organic Farming and obtained without pesticides or chemical fertilizers, are easy to grow. You will sow the seeds in a pot and plant the young plants in moist soil, in sunny exposure. But not too early as the Melon is sensitive to temperatures below 10-12°. Depending on the varieties, such as the 'Old France' Melon, the Sweet Melon or the 'Charentais' Melon or Cantaloupe, pruning may be necessary.
