Mustard or White Mustard is a condiment plant grown as a green fertiliser but also for its seeds and young leaves, which are consumed in salads or mesclun. In the vegetable garden, from spring to autumn, it is used in the same way as Rapeseed, Phacelia and Vetch, to structure and enrich the soil. It is popular for its very rapid growth and its ground covering effect: a natural way to protect and fertilise the soil without resorting to chemical treatments. These Mustard seeds come from Organic Farming and are certified organic.
