I am very disappointed! The bulbs were planted in a planter shortly after receiving them, in a mix consisting of one part sand, two parts garden soil, and four parts compost. Two varieties didn't even bother to show any shoots, and one showed shoots of one to two centimeters which all rotted. Only the narcissus thalia delivered with the same order grew properly (in the same mix).

Planting and care

Plant your narcissus as soon as possible in well-drained soil. Loosen the soil deeply. Plant at a depth of 10cm (4in) (the bulbs should be covered with twice their height of soil). Space the bulbs a few centimetres apart, making sure they don't touch. Choose a sunny exposure for better flowering. After flowering, cut the flower stems and let the leaves dry completely before cutting them.
