Description

Collection of 10 'Orange Princess' double tulip bulbs, 10 'Calgary' white tulip bulbs, and 10 biennial plug plants to accompany them for a colourful spring flowerbed in orange and white.

The collection consists of:

10 'Orange Princess' double tulip bulbs

10 'Calgary' early tulip bulbs

5 Tasso Blanche Daisy plug plants

5 Inspire Orange Pansy plug plants with maculate

First, plant the bulbs halfway up the container, then place the plug plants on the surface of the soil, spacing them 10-15 cm. The biennial plants will flower before and after the tulip bulbs.

This collection can fill two flowerbeds measuring 40-60 cm in length or two pots with a diameter of approximately 30 cm.

Note: Please be aware that our young plug plants are professional products intended for experienced gardeners. Upon receipt, transplant them as soon as possible, either in pots, flowerbeds, or directly in the ground.

Planting and care

Plant your biennial plug plants and bulbs in a pot or large container in a sunny or possibly semi-shaded position. They require light and humus-rich soil and appreciate a fertiliser application. Place the bulbs first, at a depth of about 10 cm, fill with compost up to 1 or 2 cm from the pot's edge, then plant the biennial plug plants, spacing them about 10 to 15 cm apart in all directions. In a pot, the biennial plug plants should be watered at planting, and you can store them during winter on a balcony or a window ledge protected from cold winds.
