Description

Tulipa 'Rejoyce' is a spring bulb that bears beautiful pale pink-mauve flowers with salmon reflections, measuring 4 to 6cm (2in) in diameter. From April to May, the flowers are perched on sturdy stems that withstand inclement weather.

It fits perfectly in large flower beds. Plant it with other tulip varieties to maximise the blooming period. It can also be planted in pots and containers. This tulip enhances balconies and patios beautifully. The cut flowers look wonderful in a vase.

Planting and care

Plant the bulbs in a sunny or partially shaded spot. Plant from late September to December for spring flowering. Plant the bulbs in well-drained and deeply loosened soil, at a depth of 15cm (6in). Space the bulbs 10cm (4in) apart, ensuring they do not touch. They will have a wonderful effect when planted en masse. They have quite basic needs. Simply water regularly, especially during dry winters, and cut the flower stalks after flowering. Let the leaves dry completely before cutting them.
