Tulipa Weisse Berliner - Mutliple flowering Tulip

Tulipa 'Weisse Berliner' is a very pretty white tulip producing multiple flowers on each stem. The purity and profusion of its immaculately white flowers make a spectacle in the garden, in a pot, and in bouquets. Each bulb produces a branching floral stem. Each branch carries a beautiful white tulip, forming a natural-looking bouquet, far from the somewhat stiff appearance that some tulips can have.

Tulipa 'Weisse Berliner' belongs to the Liliaceae family. Of horticultural origin, multi-flowered tulips have a branching floral stem that gives rise to several smaller-sized flowers. The elegant flowers appear at the top of leafy floral stems that are 50cm (20in) tall. Each stem can bear 3 to 7 perfect white blooms. The foliage turns yellow and then dries up a few weeks after flowering, while the bulb goes into dormancy.

Mix it with daffodils, hyacinths, or even Corsican hellebores, lady's mantles, and euphorbias for beautiful scenes. It can be planted in borders, rockeries, flower beds, pots, and containers. This tulip beautifully decorates balconies and patios. It pairs perfectly with tall perennials like peonies. The flowers are ideal for creating elegant bouquets. Only use a little water in a vase. If your tulips open too quickly, you can add two to three ice cubes to the vase each day.
