Multiple flowering/Multi-headed Tulips form a rather heterogeneous set of cultivars belonging, like other tulips, to the large Liliaceae family. Of horticultural origin, they can be part of several groups of tulips, including the Triumph varieties or late single Tulips, for example. As such, their flowering period may vary from early to late. Their main distinctive feature is their ramified floral stem that gives rise to a lovely cluster of several modest size flowers, which give them a spontaneous character and very natural appearance, far removed from the calibrated standards of their Dutch cousins.
