Description
Annual, bulbous, perennial, and shrubby plants. The species offered are among the most cold-resistant. They have all endured multiple winters in our garden.
This magnificent plant has large ovate leaves that are light green on the top and pale red on the underside, with prominent wine-red veins. Small white flowers are carried by reddish stems from July until the first frost.

Planting and care
Rich humus soil is moist to damp, without limestone, and in partial shade. In rich humus soil, begonias self-seed, with seeds or small bulbils developing in the axils of the leaves and producing flowering plants the following year.
