Description

The Mahón Wallflower is an annual plant well suited for creating borders due to its compact habit. It produces a mass of small flowers in shades ranging from pink to white. You can also use it in rockeries, in walls or between paving stones. It is a very easy to grow and fast-growing plant. Therefore, it is a friend of beginner or busy gardeners.

The malcomia maritima will thrive in any soil, but in a very sunny exposure.

Planting and care

Sow the seeds of Mahon Wallflower directly into the soil at a depth of 0.3 cm (0.1 in), in warm and moist soil, from March to May. Thin out in stages at intervals of 15 cm (5.9 in). Germination takes 10 to 20 days. Plant the Malcolmia maritima in full sun. Its cultivation is very easy.
