Even if it wasn't as beautiful as in the pictures, my flower pot was very much appreciated.

Collection items (5 plants)

Description

A collection of 5 plug plants for a beautiful range of blue to violet and white shades, perfect for pots and hanging baskets.

They require a bright exposure to flower well. They are fairly resistant to drought and heat.

Green plants measuring 4 to 8 cm (2 to 3 in) in packs of 5 small plugs, 2.8 cm (1 in) in diameter and 4 cm (2 in) in height, individually labelled. Our plants are at least eight weeks old and strong enough to be planted in the ground.

Note: Please be aware that our young plug plants are professional products intended for experienced gardeners. Upon receipt, transplant and store them under shelter (veranda, greenhouse, cold frame, etc.) at a temperature above 14 °C (57.2 °F) for a few weeks before planting them outdoors once the risk of frost has passed.

Planting and care

Upon receipt of your young plants, transplant them into larger pots and water them regularly while keeping them frost-free. They need a good planting compost. Wait until the last heavy frosts have passed before taking them outside. You can pre-cultivate them in pots in a warm and bright place to accelerate their growth. Place your pots in a sunny or semi-shaded position. They tolerate drought well, but will need regular watering during hot summer periods. They are hungry plants, and very floriferous and fast-growing. We recommend feeding them with a liquid fertiliser for planters once or twice a week during the growing season. Remove faded flowers and dry leaves as they appear to maintain their appearance and prolong flowering.
