The plant was very well packaged, but they should have been watered before being dispatched. I believe they stayed in the box for 3 days during the hot weather (from 12th to 15th April 2024)... A lack of water with the plug plants is unforgivable... The young plants were pendulous, I have planted them and watered them well. I will inform you if there are any issues with their recovery.

Description

The White-Blue Planter Collection brings together five annual plants that flower for months, from spring to autumn, in blue and white. Each one develops trailing, erect, or "cushion-like" folliage, making it easy to create a beautiful pot measuring 40 to 60 cm (16 to 24in) in diameter. Their flowers create a charming tapestry dominated by spikes of intense blue-violet sage.

The collection consists of:

1 plug plant of Laurentia Beth's Blue, with a trailing habit, covered in countless small lavender-mauve star-shaped, fragrant flowers from summer to autumn.

1 plug plant of Big Blue Sage, with a bushy tufted habit, to be planted in the centre, producing superb dense spikes of intense blue-violet flowers.

1 plug plant of Bacopa Double Snowball

1 plug plant of Purple Streptocarpus, with a cushion-like habit, with delicate blue-purple flowers for months, to be planted at the edge of the pot.

1 plug plant of Begonia Doublet White, with double white flowers

Place your pot in the sun or partial shade, on the patio, balcony, or to highlight the curve of a pathway, a few steps, or a porch... Add, for example, a touch of gold (Alyssum, Anthemis Butterfly Yellow, Bidens Yellow Charm) to accentuate the vibrancy of blue and warm up the white.

Note: Please be aware that our young plug plants are professional products reserved for experienced gardeners: upon receipt, repot and store them in a sheltered place (veranda, greenhouse, cold frame...) at a temperature above 14C° for a few weeks before planting them outside once the risk of frost has passed.

Planting and care

Plant your plug plants in a large container, in a sunny or possibly semi-shaded location. They need a light and humus-rich soil and appreciate fertiliser. In pots, annuals should be watered regularly, and by bringing them indoors at the first frost, you can extend their flowering into the autumn.
