Description
The Light Pink Cosmos Sonata with a Dark Centre is an annual plant that flowers for almost 6 months.
Throughout the summer, it has a continuous flowering of large, single and airy flowers, measuring 5 to 8 cm (2 to 3in) in diameter with a wide cup shape. This Cosmos, the earliest and shortest (50cm (20in) in height at ripeness), allows for cultivation in flower beds and large containers. It has a soft pink flower, maculate with purple at the centre. Its leaves, measuring 20 to 30 cm (8 to 12in), are very airy and deeply cut, and are of a medium green colour.
The Cosmos Sonata thrives in sunlight and is resistant to light frosts. It is used in gardens for flower beds, borders, and even containers. It is also suitable for cut flowers.
Note: Please be aware that our plug plants are professional products intended for experienced gardeners. Upon receipt, transplant and store them in a sheltered location (veranda, greenhouse, cold frame) at a temperature above 14°C (57.2°F) for a few weeks before placing them outdoors once the risk of frost has passed definitively.
