Our range of aquatic plants will be planted under 20 to 50 cm of water in an intermediate depth zone. This category, less diverse than that of semi-aquatic plants, includes some dwarf water lilies, Thalia dealbata, the water canna, Eleocharis palustris or marsh club-rush, and also Typha latifolia, the great bulrush. Some basic plants for phytoremediation are part of this group, including the common reed Phragmites australis. This plant forms reed beds, a remarkable natural shelter for small mammals and birds.
The planting depth, ranging from 20 to 50 cm, refers to the water level from the top of the planting basket or the plant's collar to the surface of the water (excluding the height of the basket itself).
