High-quality product, a lifetime investment... if you find it expensive...! Very practical long handle as it prevents excessive bending and allows for digging deeper holes (great for leeks, for example...) and slightly bigger ones by "twirling" it. It would be ideal for this dibber to have a larger copper head, to facilitate the transplantation of seedlings that have grown in peat pots and are directly planted into holes of their size... No dibber of this size exists in the market, larger...!

Directions for use The dibber is an extremely simple tool to use. You just need to press the tip into the soil, apply vertical pressure to make it sink to the handle, and then remove it. In the holes thus formed, you can either put your seeds to germinate or transplant young plants. Once the seeds or plants are inserted into the hole, lightly cover the soil and wait for Mother Nature to do her work. The dibber requires soil with a moderate moisture level. If the soil is too dry, it will close up as soon as you remove the dibber; if it's too wet, it may stick to the dibber. On soil that is neither too dry nor too wet, the copper dibber is the most suitable tool.
