This perennial planter with a traditional ash handle and a small heart-shaped, hand-forged blade, is ideal for uprooting, dividing, and transplanting your perennial plants. Due to its very short handle, this tool is perfect for working in raised beds and is suitable for seated or kneeling work. Its head is hand-forged from boron steel.

This traditional De Pypere perennial planter, equipped with an ash handle, has a small heart-shaped blade that is incredibly efficient. With its sharp cutting edges, it will prepare planting holes and uproot plants, but it is also the perfect tool for dividing plants cleanly and precisely without damaging their crown. Its very short T-shaped handle allows for easy work in tight or elevated spaces such as flower pots or vegetable beds, and is perfectly suited for sitting or kneeling work. Its blade is hand-forged in steel, with a boron steel finish. It is a lightweight, manoeuvrable, and resistant, well-made tool that will last for many years.

Dimensions: blade: 12 x 11.5cm (5in) - handle length: 40cm (16in).

The perennial planter is an essential hand tool when precise work is needed in flower boxes, flower pots, densely planted flower beds, or the vegetable garden. It is designed for digging and cutting. This model consists of a short handle made of natural ash, known for its hardness, with a socket where the forged blade made of hardened carbon steel resistant to shocks, twisting, and corrosion thanks to the boron steel finish, is fixed. The T-shaped handle facilitates a good grip and enhances the gardener's strength: it allows for leverage when driving the blade into the soil. It will be easier to use in not too compact hard soils, previously moistened for example. This planter prevents excessive force and limits painful movements: it will be greatly appreciated by gardeners with joint problems. The handle is compostable, the metal head is recyclable.

The traditional De Pypere range includes high-quality tools, all made of forged steel and equipped with ash handles. The boron steel coating on the blades is very hard and resistant, making it a valuable material for tools that can be heavily used in the garden.

This tool is under warranty. The warranty does not apply to handles or grips, only to the metal parts except consumables (screws, springs, etc.) and within the scope of normal use.
