This large traditional cultivator, made of copper alloy with its 3 teeth and its lime wood handle, is ideal for weeding, aerating, and loosening the soil between plants. Its large size and the quality of its materials will make it a new friend to you and your back. This tool is guaranteed for 2 years.

This Taurus 3-tine copper cultivator from the PKS Bronze range, named after the famous Austrian ecologist and naturalist, is ideal for aerating and loosening the soil between plants. Its copper alloy head, which releases micro particles into the soil during use, helps to enrich it with this natural soil component as the three swan-necked tines pass through. Durable and resistant, thanks to its long beech handle inserted into the socket, it is a well-made tool that will accompany the gardener for many years.

Dimensions: triple swan-necked tine head: 9x7cm (3in) - Handle length: 1.65m (5ft) (suitable for tall individuals)

The garden cultivator is an essential tool when gardening, especially for maintaining the soil between vegetables and flowers grown in open ground. It allows for weeding, loosening, and refining the soil texture after using a spade, fork, or pickaxe, creating a favorable environment for sowing, germination, and the development of young roots. This large tool consists of a long beech handle with a socket where the copper alloy head is attached. The head is formed by 3 curved tines, slightly hooked at the ends, resembling a swan's neck. This tool can also be maneuvered around vegetable plants, flower beds, or shrubs to remove young weeds, which can be easily collected. The handle is compostable, and the metal head is recyclable. The cultivator is sometimes called a garden fork, garden claw, claw hoe, or weed claw.

PKS Bronze is an Austrian company specialising in the production of traditional tools made from copper alloy. Copper tools are durable, rust-resistant, and last a lifetime. They also have the advantage of not dulling, so there is no need to sharpen them. Lastly, they are also elegant, as the aesthetic of copper gives them a noble and silky appearance. Copper tools, with their extreme longevity, are faithful companions to their owners for decades.

Directions for use The Schauberger copper Taurus cultivator is particularly suited to heavy soils. It is perfect for weeding: scrape the soil and then remove unwanted weeds. It is also a useful ally for cleaning borders near crops, without the risk of damaging their roots. It is used to refine the soil, especially in spring, after preparing and turning the soil with a spade, pickaxe or fork-spade. You can also harvest small potatoes using this cultivator. To maintain the beautiful appearance of your copper tool, we recommend cleaning it with a hard brush after each use, storing it away from moisture, and once a year sanding the handle with fine sandpaper and oiling it with a mixture of linseed oil and turpentine for easier application. You can dilute it half and half and for faster drying of the handle, use boiled linseed oil.
